Faculty
Semeen Akhter is a distinguished Dutch Pakistani professional with over 23 years of diverse professional experience spanning multiple geographies including the Middle East. South Asia, South Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Australia. She is currently the CEO of Engro Powergen Qadirpur Limited. Prior to this she has led large and diverse global teams in C-level roles for bp, Unilever, SBM Offshore and Johnson Controls focused on business transformation through technology, implementing digital technologies at scale such as Factory of the Future, Industrial IOT, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data Analytics etc. She is also an active advocate of women in technology and is on the board of a number of companies. She is a sought after speaker and has been a part of many international events and conferences Semeen holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from NED University and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (Karachi). She has also done many leadership trainings at Oxford and Stanford universities.

Mr. Javaid Iqbal is a distinguished technology executive known for driving transformative change for Fortune 500 companies and governments across North America, Europe, and Asia. As a current Member at STZA, he has previously held senior roles at Salesforce, EY, and PwC, and founded TransformX, a global consultancy specializing in Digital Transformation and Customer Experience. With degrees from Purdue and Northwestern Universities and experience as an adjunct professor at DePaul University, Iqbal now teaches Board-Level Technology Governance and Cybersecurity at PICG and IBA and mentors startups in the MENAP region.
